Stop Taking Fish Oil

Cancer, Immunosuppression, Thyroid Dysfunction, Heart Disease

When fisheries had spoiled fish that couldn’t be sold to restaurants, they’d sell it in bulk to the supplement industry.

Afterwards, the rotten fish would undergo an extensive process of cooking, juicing (yes… you heard that right), degumming, more high heating, and refining.

Yes… you heard that right. Fish oil is a waste product from the fishing industry.

And your fish oil would be a lot better off in the trash than in your body.

It’s doing you a lot more harm than good.

You might be thinking…

Doesn’t fish oil have a ton of benefits?

You’ve heard that fish oil improves heart health, supports a healthy pregnancy, reduces inflammation, improves cognition & brain health, and even treats depression & anxiety.

This just isn’t true.

Let’s take a look at some well-conducted fish oil and omega-3 research:

“Low-dose supplementation with EPA-DHA or ALA did not significantly reduce the rate of major cardiovascular events among patients” (PMID: 20929341)

“no significant effect on major vascular events” (PMID: 21115589)

“treatment with n-3 fatty acids did not reduce cardiovascular mortality and morbidity” (PMID: 23656645)

“There were no significant differences between patients allocated to placebo and those who received n-3 PUFA for the main outcome” (PMID 15956633)

“fish oil supplements does not reduce the risk of VT/VF and may be proarrhythmic in some patients” (PMID 23265344)

“no significant difference in the risk of serious vascular events” (PMID 30146932)

“Daily supplementation with 1g of n-3 fatty acids did not reduce the rate of cardiovascular events” (PMID: 22686415)

Fish oil is an extremely dangerous supplement.

Here’s what it causes…

  • Increased Risk of Cancer: Fish oil contributes to cancer development through lipid peroxidation, a process that results in oxidative stress and the production of other dangerous compounds. According to this review, there’s concrete evidence that omega-3s contribute to prostate cancer.

  • Immunosuppression: Fish oil weakens the immune system by suppressing immune cells—which are crucial for fighting off infections, pathogens, and cancerous cells.

  • Heart Disease: While fish oil is marketed for heart health, it actually contributes to heart disease through liver toxicity and lipid peroxidation. Fish oil’s ability to lower triglycerides (which is seen as a benefit) is actually due to it’s toxic effects.

  • Metabolic Dysfunction: Fish oil is rich in polyunsaturated fat, which interferes with glucose metabolism and thyroid hormone production. It also suppresses mitochondrial respiration, which impairs the body’s ability to produce energy.

  • Cognitive Decline: The breakdown products of oxidized fish oil causes brain swelling and neurodegenerative diseases by increasing the activity of glutamate—a neurotransmitter involved in nerve stimulation.

Now, there’s a caveat here.

Not all fish oil is bad.

Highly processed fish oil is toxic, but there are good options if you’d still like to get the benefits from fish oil’s high omega-3 content.

This includes eating cold water fatty fish or 100% pure, unprocessed, organic Krill oil.

Everyone needs to know about this.
