Beef Liver Pate

Beef liver is one of the most nutritious foods on the planet.

It’s rich in vitamins and minerals that aren’t commonly found in muscle meats, including vitamin A, vitamin K2, folate, biotin, copper, zinc, selenium, and more.

Turmeric and Black Pepper Golden Milk

Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, has potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

However, it can’t be absorbed on its own. Having it with piperine, an alkaloid in black pepper, increases its absorption by up to 2,000%.

Have this delicious drink first thing in the morning to supercharge your day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk, preferably raw, organic, and grass fed

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat milk over medium heat.

  2. Add turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, and ginger.

  3. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove from the heat and strain if desired.

  5. Pour into a mug, add honey, and enjoy.

Garlic and Herb Salmon

Salmon is rich in omega-3—fatty acids that fight inflammation and support heart, brain, and eye health.

Garlic contains sulfur compounds that boost the anti-inflammatory properties of omega-3’s by up to 70%.

But make sure to get wild Atlantic salmon.

Farmed salmon contains only 25% of the vitamin D found wild salmon. It also has 7 times more PCBs—industrial chemicals linked to cancer, immune system issues, and other serious health problems.

Ingredients:

  • 2 wild salmon fillets (NOT farmed)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons cold pressed organic extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, thyme or rosemary, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Brush the garlic and herb mixture over the salmon fillets.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
