The Dangers Of Detoxification
And How To Approach Detoxification Safely
You need to be extremely careful when approaching detoxification.
So if you’re considering a detoxification protocol or supplement…
Read this email.
It’s tempting to start using potent detoxifiers (including N-acetyl cysteine, glutathione, and milk thistle) right away to clear out as many toxins as possible, but without knowing exactly how go about it—you could put yourself in serious danger.
I know multiple people that were sent to the ER after detoxing too aggressively.
Detox is still incredibly beneficial just like I mentioned in yesterday’s email…
But it’s challenging to it properly.
Let me explain…
Toxins enter the body through many avenues.
When your body encounters these toxins, it can’t always remove them immediately.
To protect itself from damage, your body will store these toxins in your fat, tissues, and organs—particularly when your detox systems aren’t able to do their job properly.
You have a lot of toxins stored in your tissues. If you do an aggressive detox protocol, these toxins will be released all at once, and you might experience a Herxheimer Reaction.
This is your body’s response to a rapid release of toxins in your bloodstream.
This reaction occurs when potent detoxifiers trigger the release of toxins from their storage sites, overwhelming your system.

If you’re going to approach detoxification, you need expert guidance.
Detoxing with the guidance of an expert will help you avoid aggressive approaches that could lead to a Herxheimer reaction.
An expert can tailor the process to your body’s specific needs and provide support when symptoms arise.
Here are some things that we keep in mind:
A slow and steady approach: Avoid using potent detoxifiers in large doses right off the bat. Start with small, gradual doses and give your body time to adjust to the process.
Use binders with detoxifiers: Binders like activated charcoal and bentonite clay help “catch” the toxins once they’re released from their storage site. This ensures that they’re safely removed from the body.
Hydrate throughout the process: Drinking plenty of water is crucial during detox. Water helps flush toxins out of your system through urine and sweat, reducing the load on your kidneys and liver.
Get enough rest and recovery: Your body needs energy to detox effectively. Ensure that you’re getting adequate sleep and downtime to allow your detox systems to function optimally.
This is a very delicate process.
